Not long ago I figured that blogging is an effective way to promote websites, wordpress based blogs are obvious and easy choice for me, as we all know that WordPress is wonderful for automated posting, managing and much more, with the GPL liberal license make the wordpress the most famous and versatile blogging software of all time.
Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, of course this is not a new idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, the thing is that I don’t control those blogs, and I have no way to post to those blogs, obviously I will have to pay the owner to use their blogs, probably not cheap at all.
If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you’re not using your blogs as spamming device, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, look at this one, Transport Chains and Load Binders, the domain name is pretty good, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, since this is not a themed blog, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. One more example, buy domain, this is a themed blog, the content on the this site has a theme, there are a few well ranked keywords for this blog. Its easy to show more similar sites, but you should already see the point. Last but not least, some of your blogs should not be very serious ones, let them get some content occasionally, take one blog as example, Use Cable Puller to Move a Tree, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.
When you already have a few interesting blogs, you can try to build a few more, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, get your own little blog network going is not that too difficult. This is just an idea, to build a successful network will be much more complicated, do remember don’t do any spamming tricks for your sites, if you get dropped off there is no come back.
